- Asynchronous e learning: Courseware is served from a web server and delivered on demand to the learners' workstation. It is normally available to learners 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.It is a key component of flexible E-learning. A sender and receiver do not need to synchronize before each transmission, a sender can wait arbitrarily long between transmissions and the receiver must be ready to receive data when it arrives.
